State Representative David Spiller is seeking applicants for a Fall 2021 Policy and Communications internship. The ideal candidate will be a team player, self-starter, and individual who has a strong interest in the legislative process. Responsibilities and duties include: - Performing policy research, policy briefings, and other legislative documents. - Assisting the Chief of Staff with the Representative's social media, including monitoring posts and providing creative content to promote follower engagement. - Drafting legislative correspondence and assisting with constituent casework. - Preparing legislative materials and district updates for the Representative as assigned. - Assisting with the monthly electronic newsletter and other constituent outreach. - Participate in and draft notes on a variety of policy webinars and other legislative meetings.
