Policy Intern

The Nathan Johnson Campaign for Texas Attorney General is hiring a Policy Intern to support the research team.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting policy research
• Drafting memos and white papers concerning a variety of policy areas related to the role of the attorney general in Texas
• Briefing the candidate on research findings
• Fact-checking messaging sources

Requirements include:

• Available at least 20 hours through November 3, 2026. The ideal candidate will be located in Austin by the end of August but able to begin remotely prior to the beginning of the Fall semester
• Access to a personal vehicle
• Familiarity with Texas politics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
