Political Campaign Intern
Are you curious about how state legislative campaigns work? This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, community-driven political campaign here in South Austin.
Our campaign is actively building a strong field operation, and we are seeking motivated, reliable individuals to join our team. As a campaign intern, you will play a meaningful role in voter outreach, event organizing, and data management—while building a foundation of practical, real-world skills in campaigns and political organizing.
What You Will Learn:

Assist with training and supporting volunteers during door-to-door canvassing

Coordinate and track daily voter contact alongside the Field Director

Learn to use campaign data tools such as VAN and MiniVAN

Support campaign events and community engagement efforts
Qualifications:

Comfortable speaking with voters at the door or at campaign events

Reliable, punctual, and able to complete assigned tasks in an organized manner

Willing to learn and clearly communicate the candidate’s message to voters

Available to work weekends as the campaign ramps up

Coachable, professional, and eager to gain campaign experience
Compensation & Benefits:

$15 per hour
