Blue Victory Communications is looking for a talented Political Communications Associate with a positive and hardworking attitude. Associates will help coordinate, write, and develop political messaging for a variety of Texas elected officials and political candidates. Applicants should be strong writers and have an understanding of the Texas political landscape and current events. A communications background is strongly preferred but not required. Political experience is preferred but not required. Graphic design and video editing experience is preferred but not required. Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis with a desired start date of August 1st, 2024. This employment opportunity is fully remote with flexible hours. Applicants must submit a resume, writing sample, and graphic/video design portfolio (if applicable). Communication Associates are paid $4,500 monthly and work 30-40 hours per week. Duties and responsibilities: Coordinate with elected officials and political candidates to draft and edit social media language and other communications projects. Help manage, develop, and deliver creative and strategic social media programs. Requirements: Ability to start August 1st, 2024 Communications experience Strong writing skills Highly organized Preferred: Graphic design experience Familiarity with Google Suite and Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator and Premiere Who is Blue Victory: Blue Victory Communications is one of the leading Democratic communications firms in Texas.
