Job Description
We are the only group that solely focuses on Texas and gun violence prevention. We advocate for common-sense, evidence-based laws and policies that make Texans safer. We seek a current student or graduate motivated to assist in our efforts to reduce gun violence injuries and deaths. Intern will perform detailed research of current Texas laws and look for successful models in use by other states. Intern will become familiar with the operations of a small nonprofit, experience the world of public policy advocacy, and participate in forming a legislative agenda for the 2023 Session.
