Whether that be issue areas such as transportation, financial services, cybersecurity, or
healthcare, our clients are constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation. While Atlas Crossing
is a boutique firm, we are results-oriented and depend on our interns to be very involved and
engaged with our senior staff as they craft and execute legislative strategies for our clients. This
is a paid internship opportunity available on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Position Summary: Atlas Crossing seeks a hard-working Government Affairs Intern to support
the firm's advocacy, issue tracking, and client management efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Draft client-facing memos on congressional hearings, legislation, and other public policy
issues. - Conduct research on various issues that affect our clients and potential new clients.
- Assist in execution of client fly-in meetings and craft supporting background documents
for senior staff and clients. - Track legislation, regulations, federal contracting opportunities, and closely monitor
relevant events. - Perform administrative tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to complete projects under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in political science or related field preferred.
- Intern experience on Capitol Hill, government agencies, or at a government affairs firm
preferred.
