Job Description

The Office of State Representative Charles Cunningham is seeking a highly motivated intern for the remainder of the 89th Interim, August through December 2026, with the possibility of staying on for the 90th Legislative Session from January through May 2027. The ideal candidate has an interest in public policy and government and is motivated to learn more about the legislative process. Interns are expected to manage multiple job duties in a fast-paced environment and be team-oriented. No previous experience is required. Responsibilities will include interacting and greeting office visitors, assisting with analyzing legislation and tracking bills, administrative functions such as scheduling, answering phones, and taking messages, and attending meetings and briefings on behalf of the office.
