Remote internship: We are looking for a mission driven individual who believes in increasing civic engagement and youth activism. Summer interns will work in teams of 5-6 to help TurnUp achieve its marketing, social media, communications and partnerships goals as TurnUp prepares to launch their mobile app in June. Each team will have a team leader and a direct overseer from the TurnUp staff. Interns on the teams will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, and will be working with their teams on Google Meet and also communicating with Slack. Teams are very community oriented. Interns will have the opportunity to work directly with our leadership team and experienced advisors and will report to our team leader. The intern will be working in a collaborative environment. Interns will learn about progressive organizing, start-ups, partnerships, marketing, and about the non-profit, civic technology and progressive space. Interns will have the opportunity to work remotely and interact with others in the civic and nonprofit technology community. Interns will have access to our illustrious advisory board, and make a real impact on youth voter turnout to further progressive change. Time commitment is negotiable.
