Y’alla Collaborative provides a wide range of services, including building deep and lasting relationships with investors and allies; providing full operations & development department assessments, recommendations, and implementation plans; onboarding and mentoring staff; and filling short-term and urgent capacity needs. Y’alla Collaborative is a small firm in which each member of the team plays a crucial role interfacing with clients and implementing smart strategies. We are looking for an organized and motivated intern to assist in administrative tasks, with the opportunity to take on more responsibilities over time. This is a PAID internship for $18+/hr depending on experience. Firm is based in Austin TX with clients throughout the United States. Opportunity for in-person work but primarily work remotely. Ideal start date is late May / early June, but flexible. Responsibilities will include: -- Incorporating large lists of data into manageable spreadsheets -- Assisting in the creation of materials for client briefings and presentations -- Organizing and maintaining the firm’s Google Drive -- Conducting research on donors’ capacity and details -- Taking detailed notes of client meetings and presentations -- Updating and maintaining all tasks in project management system -- Attend and actively participate in client meetings -- (Responsibilities can grow based on candidate interest and skill set) Candidate Requirements You… * Are highly motivated to advance the work of critical progressive advocacy organizations * Work thoroughly and efficiently, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities * Look to streamline internal and client processes whenever possible * Are a strong communicator: frequently provide project/task updates, transparency about capacity and availability * Are a strong task manager: ability to stay on top of multiple separate workflows * Provide well-organized work, with an eye for aesthetics and intuitive organization * Work with complete discretion and consideration of sensitive information * Are an effective contributor in a collaborative environment, a “people person” * Have a openness to learn, ask questions, accept feedback, and problem-solve Preferred Qualifications > Experience in Outlook and Google Drive > Experience in EveryAction, Salesforce or other CRM, especially in a non-profit/political context > Experience in Asana or other project management platform(s) > Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel and/or other data contexts (R, Python, Tableau, etc.) > Comfortable working with limited supervision
