2016 Presidential Election Vote Choice (October 2016)
Likely voters were asked, "If the 2016 general election for U.S. president were held today, would you vote for the Republican ticket of Donald Trump and Mike Pence, the Democratic ticket of Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine, the Libertarian ticket of Gary Johnson and William Weld, the Green Party ticket of Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka, someone else, or haven't you thought enough about it to have an opinion?" If they initially answered that they had no opinion, they were then asked a follow-up question: "If you had to make a choice, who would you choose?" Responses to the follow-up questions were folded into the results found above. "Likely Voters" were defined as those who indicated that they were either certain to vote in Q3A or have voted in every election in Q3.
