- Opportunities to attend political and community events and build your Austin network
- A deeper understanding of local government, elections, and public policy
- Real projects and work products for your resume or portfolio
- Mentorship and exposure to careers in government, policy, and politics
About the race:
This November, Travis County voters will elect members of the Travis Central Appraisal District (TCAD) Board of Directors. Yvonne Muñoz is the Democratic candidate for Place 3, running to help ensure TCAD is well-managed, accountable, and accessible to the people it serves. The Board oversees the district’s leadership, budget, and operations.
Compensation: This is primarily a volunteer opportunity, with a modest stipend potentially available as campaign resources allow.
