Fall Organizing and Field Fellow
Ready to turn your interest in politics into real-world experience and professional skills?
Caitlin Rourk for Congress is hiring Fall Organizing & Field Fellows to support grassroots outreach, volunteer coordination, and community engagement in a competitive Texas Congressional race.
Fellows take on meaningful responsibility in a fast-paced professional environment, with opportunities to learn from mentors, hear from inspiring guest speakers, and connect with campaign and community leaders along the way, all while having a lot of fun with a great team.
The fall fellowship is unpaid. We work with professors for class credit and with organizations for service-hour credit, where applicable. Fellows will also have opportunities to earn recognition for their contributions throughout the program.
Time Commitment:

In-person, minimum of six hours per week (two three-hour shifts)
Responsibilities:

Engage personally with TX-10 constituents to identify issues important to them and attitudes about voting

Manage voter data using miniVAN
-
Organize and support block walks and phone banks
-
Track outreach metrics and trends to inform campaign strategy and messaging
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Self-starter who enjoys teamwork and on-the-ground engagement

No organizing experience necessary

Car or access to reliable transportation strongly preferred
