Job Description
The Jana Ortega campaign seeks motivated applicants for Field Organizer (FOs) positions for the 2022 Primary Election for the Judge of County Court at Law #4. This will be one of the most competitive races in Central Texas, providing hands-on experience in the ins and outs of political campaign organizing and a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in our community. Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis with a desired start immediately. The position will continue through the end of March 2022.
Field Organizers (FO) are the backbone of any campaign. FOs will be responsible for direct voter contact via door-to-door canvassing and/or phone banking. Position specific training will be provided. All canvassers will be contract workers with compensation starting at $20/hour.
Ideal candidates are self-starters, personable, and eager to learn and grow professionally. Interest in politics, campaigns, and/or criminal justice reform preferred. A functional cell phone and reliable transportation are required. All necessary training will be provided.
