Job Description
The office of State Representative Ramon Romero, Jr. of House District 90 is currently seeking motivated and responsible legislative aides to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Capitol Office. It is a great opportunity to experience the Texas legislative process and would work closely with constituents. Legislative Aide duties will include answering phones, entering data, research, drafting constituent correspondence, greeting visitors, assisting with general office tasks, and other duties as assigned by the Representative, Chief of Staff and the Legislative Director. Applicants must be proficient with basic computer software and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Internships require at least an 15-20 hour per week commitment.
