Job Description
Shapiro Linn Strategic Consulting Firm is seeking a legislative assistant for the 2019 Legislative Session. Shapiro Linn is managed by former State Senator Florence Shapiro and Julie Linn and is an education focused lobbying firm. Our clients range from community colleges to K-12 organization and schools.
Job Expectations include:
interpersonal communications
clear and concise written communication
ability to communicate effectively and professionally via telephone and email
strong organizational skills
flexible schedule (hearings can run late sometimes)
represent the office at various meetings, hearings and events
proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and social networking websites
confidentiality
