Job Description
Duties include answering phones and greeting visitors, conducting research as requested for various projects, attending legislative briefings, write memos, analyze legislation, and assist with committee hearings. This is a highly competitive process. Due to the limited amount of space and resources available, there are usually more qualified applicants than positions available. REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic and be comfortable working as part of a team. Candidates should be detailed oriented and have excellent organization, writing and communication skills, and a working knowledge of modern office programs. Internships are unpaid. They are available to both college students, graduate students, and recent graduates.
