The membership includes businesses, universities, laboratories and technology incubators working across numerous advanced technology categories such as energy, cyber-security, and medical technology. NSTXL is seeking a political and policy intern for the Spring semester to help the organization research, build and execute a state and federal outreach and engagement strategy with key decision makers and opinion leaders across the national security and technology landscape. The intern will work with and report directly to the CEO. The intern will gain a variety of skills including legislative mapping, political strategy development, power-mapping, campaign development, policy writing and policy analysis. As a new organization, NSTXL is scaling its operations and programs, so the intern will also gain valuable insight into the atmosphere of a start-up.
