Regional Field Organizer
The Williamson County Democratic Party (WCDP) seeks motivated applicants for Regional Field Organizer positions for its Coordinated Campaign for the 2026 General Election. The Regional Field Organizer is responsible for direct voter contact via canvassing and phonebanking; paid organizer recruitment, hiring, and management; volunteer recruitment and management; working events or tabling; staffing the WCDP at community and coordinated campaign events; data management; and other duties as assigned. Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis with an immediate desired start. Work is a mix of remote and onsite.
Necessary Skills and Duties
- Proficiency in Texas VAN, including ability to cut turf, manage lists, perform bulk uploads, etc.
- Supporting Precinct Chairs in executing organizing work- Assisting with special projects on Voter Registration, Poll Greeting, and similar
- Recruiting volunteers and conducting outreach to allied or affinity groups
- Training staff and volunteers on blockwalking, phonebanking, and other voter contact tactics
- Deploying canvassers and volunteers to the field daily and keeping track of data from the field
- Hiring and training Field Staff
- Overseeing Field Staff timesheets, performance metrics, and pay records
- Upholding data hygiene and other campaign standards
Requirements
Ideal candidates are self-starters, personable, and eager to learn and grow professionally. Prior experience in politics, campaigns, or organizing required. Candidates will be expected to regularly work irregular hours, including nights and weekends. A functional cell phone and reliable transportation are required, and a car or similar personal vehicle is recommended. All necessary training will be provided.
