Job Description
The Texas Tribune is seeking student researchers who will receive course credit for helping the nonprofit news organization investigate conflicts of interest among Texas' elected officials. The researchers will spend 10 hours a week reviewing lawmakers' financial and campaign finance records, property listings, sources of income and carried legislation. They will learn how to use public records, state documents, online search tools and traditional reporting to hold elected officials accountable.
