OVERVIEW: Are you ready to shape the future of our city through the lens of government and prior campaign experience? Our City Council Field Operations Internship is a unique opportunity for students with an interest in local politics - you will dive into the heart of local governance, tackle real-world challenges, engage with community and contribute to the development of policies that could shape the future of District 7. As a Field Operations Intern, you will contribute significantly to a dynamic, grassroots movement and gain hands-on experience in local politics. RESPONSIBILITIES: Canvassing and Voter Outreach – participate in door-to-door canvassing initiatives and develop targeted voter outreach strategies and refine engagement techniques; Event Coordination – utilize organizational skills to plan and execute campaign events, town halls and meet-and-greets; Research and Data Analysis – apply analytical skills to interpret and present data to inform strategic decision-making.
